Our Story

Dr. Victor Vodounou, a Deaf individual from Benin, faced significant challenges growing up in a world that often overlooks the needs of the Deaf community. In a country where approximately 115,000 Deaf people struggle for recognition and access to education, Live Ear Ministries was founded to change this narrative. Established by Dr. Vodounou and his wife Benoite, the organization aims to provide essential educational resources, vocational training, and spiritual guidance to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.

Impact

Since its inception, Live Ear Ministries has educated and supported 321 students, equipping them with vital life skills and fostering a safe community. The organization also promotes vocational training and spiritual growth, impacting both Deaf and hearing individuals in the region.
