Our Story
The Little Miami Conservancy, founded in 1967, is committed to the restoration and protection of the Little Miami National Wild & Scenic River. Established by Glenn Thompson and fellow conservationists, the organization has been instrumental in creating a 'corridor of green' along the river, leading to the development of Ohio's first Rails to Trails project, the Little Miami Bike Trail.
Impact
With a focus on river conservation, LMC has restored 100 miles of river, created 120 nature preserves, and planted over 55,000 trees. The organization has educated thousands about river ecosystems and conservation efforts.
