Our Story

Little Lumpy’s Center is where impossible dreams come true. With the support of the community and sponsors, this organization serves Cleveland and other traditionally underserved communities in Northeastern Ohio. Through initiatives like the Annual Great Lakes African American Writers Conference, the Literacy Readiness Program, and the ToonBoom Animation Program, Little Lumpy’s Center is dedicated to increasing literacy and providing professional development opportunities for youth and adults of color.

Impact

Little Lumpy’s aims to provide free curriculum to 5,500 students of color over the next five years, expanding its reach to communities in five major Midwestern cities. By advancing education, students are set on a path to achieve economic and social success.
