Little Bear Sanctuary’s journey began in the 1930s on a small farm in Kassel, Germany, where a young girl named Ursula, affectionately known as Little Bear, nurtured a deep love for animals. After moving to the United States, her son Chris and partner Randy were inspired by Ursula’s compassion to create a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing animals from abusive situations. Named in her honor, Little Bear Sanctuary stands as a testament to her legacy.

Today, Little Bear Sanctuary provides a safe haven for over 200 rescued agricultural animals, allowing them to thrive in a natural environment free from cages and neglect.
