Our Story
Founded in 2006 by Katie Gonzalez in San Diego, California, Little Angels Service Dogs began with a vision to provide specialized service dogs for individuals with disabilities. Starting from a garage with just ten dedicated volunteer puppy raisers, the organization has grown significantly. Monthly training sessions in local parks laid the groundwork for a community committed to socializing and training service dogs. Today, Little Angels operates with a passionate team of 16 staff members and 47 volunteers, expanding its reach across San Diego County, Nacogdoches County, Texas, and New England.
Our Impact
Little Angels Service Dogs trains and places fully trained service dogs with individuals living with disabilities. As an Assistance Dogs International (A.D.I.) accredited organization, the training practices adhere to the highest standards, ensuring quality assistance for those in need and a safe environment for the community.
