Our Story

Literacy Is A Family Experience, Inc. (LiFE) was established to empower parents and families to enhance their children's literacy skills, particularly focusing on children aged 0-9 years. Collaborating with community organizations and educational institutions, LiFE provides essential resources and training for parents, ensuring they can effectively support their children's reading development from an early age.

Impact

Since its inception in 2014, LiFE has successfully engaged with over 3000 families, significantly improving children's reading readiness by the 3rd grade. The organization has also established libraries in schools and health clinics in rural Jamaica, extending its impact on literacy education.
