Our Story

In 2017, two families became deeply involved with a local residential facility for foster children. Witnessing the trauma these children endure inspired them to create a nonprofit organization in memory of their loved ones, Lisa DeNardo and Pete Polk. Officially established on March 15, 2019, the Lisa DeNardo-Pete Polk Memorial Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of children and families affected by foster care, poverty, and trauma.
