About Lions Tigers & Bears
Established in 2002 by Founder and Director Bobbi Brink, Lions Tigers & Bears is a no-breed, no-contact animal rescue and sanctuary located in east San Diego County. The organization began after witnessing the neglectful treatment of exotic animals in captivity, starting with two tigers, Raja and Natasha, rescued from deplorable conditions. Over the years, the sanctuary has grown to house over 60 rescued animals across 19 species, advocating against the exotic animal trade.
Impact of the Sanctuary
Since its inception, Lions Tigers & Bears has rescued and transported over 1,000 animals, providing them with a lifetime home and care. The sanctuary collaborates with law enforcement and other sanctuaries to assist in the relocation of abused animals, making a significant impact in animal welfare.
