Founded in 1935 by the Charlotte Central Lions Club, Lions Services began as a means to employ World War I veterans by re-caning chairs. Over the years, it has transformed into a nonprofit textile manufacturer dedicated to providing vocational rehabilitation for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Today, Lions Services is recognized for its quality products and commitment to empowering the blind community through meaningful employment opportunities.
