Our Story

The Linnea Residential Home Inc was founded in 1979 by John & Isabel Kallin and Sumner & Joan Johnson, driven by a heartfelt vision to create an independent living environment for their adult daughters, Marilyn and Roxanne. This dream blossomed into a nurturing community where individuals with developmental disabilities can thrive, surrounded by family and friends who care deeply. The organization is rooted in the belief that disability is a natural part of life, and everyone deserves the right to live independently, make choices, and fully engage in their communities.

Impact

Since its inception, Linnea Residential Home has provided essential support to individuals and their families, operating as an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and more recently as a Community Residential Service (CRS) under the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) License. The organization is committed to ensuring that all residents live in a safe, healthy environment with access to nutritious meals and diverse cultural experiences.
