Our Story

Rescuing animals is a lifelong calling for Cindy Orr, the founder and president of Linn County Animal Rescue. Since 2005, Cindy has worked alongside the Linn County Sheriff’s Office to rescue neglected and abused equines. In 2008, LCAR became a 501(c)(3) organization, expanding its mission to include a variety of animals. The 53-acre sanctuary outside of Lebanon is now home to cows, sheep, and hospice dogs, many of whom are seniors enjoying their final days in comfort and care.

Our Impact

The fight against animal cruelty is crucial. Linn County Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for abused and neglected animals in the community. Your contributions enable essential care and shelter, making a significant difference in their lives.
