Our Story
Linking Efforts Against Drugs (LEAD) was established in 1986 as the Lake Bluff/Lake Forest Parent Council and became a nonprofit in 1991. This organization is dedicated to preventing substance abuse and risky behaviors among youth by fostering collaboration among families, schools, and communities.
Impact
Through its prevention programs and community engagement, LEAD has significantly reduced alcohol and drug use among teens in the Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood areas.
