Our Story

Link to Libraries was co-founded in 2008 by Susan Jaye-Kaplan and Janet M. Crimmins to tackle childhood literacy challenges in Western Massachusetts. The organization focuses on increasing children's access to books, enhancing their language and literacy skills. Since its inception, Link to Libraries has distributed over one million new books to children in need, many of whom have never owned a book before.

Impact

Link to Libraries has successfully distributed over one million new books to school libraries and the homes of children in need. This initiative significantly improves access to reading materials for underserved communities, enhancing literacy skills among children of all cultural backgrounds and contributing to their academic success and lifelong love of reading.
