About Lily’s Place
Lily’s Place was founded by Rhonda Edmunds, Sara Murray, and Mary Calhoun Brown, who recognized the urgent need for specialized care for infants suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). Established in October 2014, Lily’s Place is the first center of its kind in the United States, designed to provide a nurturing environment for these vulnerable babies. The facility features private rooms with dim lighting and a quiet atmosphere, essential for infants sensitive to light and sound.
Our Mission
With a low staff-to-patient ratio and extended visiting hours, Lily’s Place encourages family involvement, allowing mothers to room-in with their babies whenever possible. Since opening, the center has expanded its services to include behavioral health and prevention programs, serving over 350 families in the Huntington area.
Impact
Lily’s Place is dedicated to creating healthier families and communities by providing comprehensive support for those affected by substance use.
