Lighthouse - Fort Bend was founded out of a heartfelt desire to gather in the Name of Jesus and worship freely. It all began with a prayer meeting at the Rao kitchen table, where the founders, feeling like Christians without a home, envisioned a community for others in similar situations. The church's first Sunday saw an unexpected turnout of 75 people, and it has since flourished, ministering to children, youth, and the sick.
The church is dedicated to providing Christian fellowship in a loving family atmosphere, focusing on outreach and support for the poor, widows, orphans, and prisoners.
