Our Story

Lifting Lives began in 2013 with a heartfelt mission to support orphaned and abandoned children in Kenya. It all started when Ann Dale and Cindy Gardner traveled from Utah to a rural village in Kenya, where they met 14 vulnerable children under the care of Carolyne Ashiono. Living in a tin shed with dirt floors, these children captured the hearts of Ann and Cindy, leading them to build the Gardner Granny Home. Completed in November 2013, this home provided a safe and nurturing environment for the children, allowing them to thrive.

Impact Over the Years

Since its inception, Lifting Lives has expanded its reach significantly. The original 14 children have received education and care, with two of them recently graduating from college and starting their careers. In addition, Lifting Lives now supports 39 more children facing similar challenges, ensuring they have access to education and a safe home.
