Founded in 1971 by Victoria Schneps-Yunis, Life’s WORC began as an advocacy group for individuals with developmental disabilities, inspired by her daughter Lara. Over nearly 50 years, the organization has evolved to provide essential residential services, community support, and financial trust services, ensuring that individuals with developmental disabilities and autism receive the care they deserve.
Life’s WORC supports over 2,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, offering safe, quality services including residential homes and day habilitation programs. The establishment of the Family Center for Achievement further enhances support for individuals with various disabilities, meeting the growing needs of the community.
