Our Story
Founded in 1959 by Dr. Ethel Wyner, Ph.D., Lifeline Center for Child Development began as a progressive alternative to institutionalization. Starting with just six children, Lifeline has evolved into a beacon of hope, providing innovative, evidence-based interventions for over 8,000 children facing challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Impact
At Lifeline, children with mental health challenges and their families find the resources they need to thrive. Since our inception, 86% of children have successfully transitioned back to community schools, demonstrating the effectiveness of our nurturing and informed approach.
