Our Story

LifeLine Animal Project is dedicated to ending the shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in Atlanta, Georgia. As the largest animal welfare organization in the state, it manages the Fulton and DeKalb County Animal shelters, focusing on the root causes of animal homelessness.

Transforming the care for animals in metro Atlanta, LifeLine saves tens of thousands of animals from euthanasia each year. With over 150,000 spay/neuter surgeries performed and thousands of pets receiving free veterinary care, the organization is making a significant difference.
