LifeCare Alliance, founded in 1898, is a nonprofit human services organization dedicated to providing essential health and nutrition services to residents of central Ohio. As the first in-home health care agency in Columbus, it has evolved to meet the community's changing needs, including the establishment of Meals-on-Wheels and various health and wellness programs.
As one of the five largest Meals-on-Wheels providers in the United States, LifeCare Alliance produces over 6,000 meals daily for individuals facing medical challenges, disabilities, and aging in place. This vital service saves Ohio taxpayers over $62,000 annually for each client who remains independent in their own home.
