Founded in 1994, Life Happens is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating individuals about the importance of life insurance and related financial products. In 2024, it united with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Society of Financial Services Professionals to enhance its impact.

Since its inception, Life Happens has awarded over 750 scholarships totaling more than $2.8 million to students facing financial hardship due to the loss of a parent with little or no life insurance.
