Our Story

Founded in 1984 by a dedicated group led by Jessie Schaeffer, Life Choices, formerly known as Pregnancy Support Services, was established to provide essential support for individuals facing unplanned pregnancies in Armstrong County. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to include free pregnancy tests, parenting classes, men's counseling, post-abortion support, and STD/STI testing and treatment. With multiple medical clinics and educational programs, Life Choices impacts thousands of students and families each year.

Impact

Since opening its first medical clinic in 2011, Life Choices has saved over 322 babies and educated over 3,200 students in the 2023-2024 school year, showcasing a profound impact on the community.
