About Licking County Aging Partners
Founded in 1972, Licking County Aging Partners began its journey in the basement of the Plymouth United Church of Christ, aiming to unite activities and volunteer opportunities for senior citizens in Licking County. Over the years, the agency has evolved, moving from various locations including the old Doneff’s Bakery and the Children’s Home Gymnasium, to its current home in the former Miller’s restaurant building at 1058 E. Main St. in Newark, which opened in the summer of 2012.
Today, Licking County Aging Partners stands as the largest senior center in the county, dedicated to meeting the essential needs of seniors through meals, health and home care, and social connections. With a commitment to serving one of the most diverse and vulnerable populations, LCAP prepares and delivers nearly 1,000 meals five days a week through its Meals on Wheels Program, ensuring that isolated seniors receive the nourishment and support they need.

By providing essential services, LCAP helps seniors maintain their health and dignity as they age. The agency’s comprehensive approach includes in-home support, medical transportation, and a welcoming environment where seniors can connect with others.
