About Liberation Veteran Services
Liberation Veteran Services (LVS) is dedicated to supporting homeless veterans in the Greater Richmond area. Founded in 2013, LVS operates the nation’s largest low-demand program, offering personalized counseling, case management, meals, shelter, mental health counseling, and employment training.
Impact of LVS
As of December 31, 2023, LVS has successfully transitioned 86% of veterans to permanent housing, serving 724 veterans and providing mental health services to 182 individuals.
