The Liberation Institute was founded in 2008 by Steven "Stever" Dallmann as a grassroots community mental health organization. It emerged in response to the challenges posed by managed care and public health bureaucracy, aiming to provide accessible mental health support. Today, it thrives with over 70 volunteer professional healers serving nearly 300 clients weekly.
