Founded in July 2021 by Dr. Yanping Yu, a first-generation Chinese American, LI Youth Development Inc. aims to empower youth through various clubs and events. What began as a tennis club inspired by Dr. Yu's children has evolved into a comprehensive organization dedicated to fostering collaboration, support, and community contribution.
In 2023, LI Youth Development Inc. donated $1,438 to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and provided scholarships to local high school seniors, showcasing a strong commitment to community service and youth empowerment.
