Founded by Lonnie Marts Jr., who overcame the challenges of growing up in a single-parent home, Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy is dedicated to empowering young males of color. After a successful career in the NFL and as a high school coach, Lonnie established this organization to provide mentorship and support to those from father-absent families.
The organization aims to positively impact the lives of young males of color by providing mentorship, academic support, and character development, guiding them to success in life as positive male role models.
