Founded in 1988 by Elaine Evans, it began with a sack of donated potatoes and has since turned hundreds of vacant lots into thriving gardens, feeding thousands and fostering community spirit.
With a rich history of over thirty-five years, Let’s Grow Akron has been instrumental in enhancing community food security and resilience through collaborative education programs and urban land use assistance.
