Les Voyageurs

Our Story

Founded in 1971 as Les Canot des Amis, Les Voyageurs has transformed the lives of young people through immersive outdoor experiences. Initially, the program featured crews of boys embarking on 15-day trips in Ontario’s Quetico Provincial Park. Over the years, the organization evolved, expanding its reach to remote areas of Manitoba and Ontario, and eventually to the Arctic. In 1981, it was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially adopting the name Les Voyageurs.

Impact

Les Voyageurs is dedicated to expanding the horizons of youth by challenging their physical, psychological, social, and learning skills. Through a transformative 28-day expedition into the Canadian wilderness, participants develop essential leadership skills and personal growth.
