The Lenaea High School Theatre Festival, initiated in 1955 by Dr. Carl Thomas, supports high school students passionate about theatre. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant event featuring One-Act Plays and Musical Theatre Solos, alongside workshops and educational opportunities. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 2012, the festival continues to inspire the next generation of theatre artists.
With participation from 71 schools and over 2,000 students, the festival fosters teamwork and networking in the theatre arts, engaging more than 100 volunteers.
