Our Story

The Lemur Conservation Network was founded in 2015 by Lynne Venart and Kim Reuter to address the urgent need for funding and support for lemur conservation efforts. Initially an online resource, LCN has grown into a vital network of over 60 organizations dedicated to protecting these endangered species.

Impact

By uniting conservation organizations, LCN enhances communication and education, empowering Malagasy communities to safeguard their natural heritage. The organization plays a crucial role in coordinating events like World Lemur Day, raising awareness and promoting conservation efforts.
