Our Story

Since 1951, Legal Services of Eastern Michigan has been dedicated to delivering free civil legal assistance to individuals living in poverty. With a mission to address the causes and effects of poverty, LSEM focuses on the survival needs of low-income people across 14 Mid-Michigan counties.
