About Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania

Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP) was established on January 1, 2001, through the collaboration of four legal services programs. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to delivering high-quality civil legal services to low-income individuals, victims of domestic abuse, and the elderly across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Impact of Legal Aid

From July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, LASP made a significant impact by obtaining benefits for adult clients with disabilities, increasing their estimated lifetime income by $6.1 million. Additionally, LASP preserved housing for 1,017 adults and children and secured 689 Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders, enhancing safety for over 1,600 individuals.
