Founded in March 2018, Legacy Reef Foundation is located at the Natural Energy Lab on the Island of Hawaii. This strategic location allows for easy access to the reefs, facilitating groundbreaking research and restoration efforts. The foundation is committed to becoming a leading coral research center globally, having established a coral research lab, a coral tank farm, and initiated the creation of containerized coral nurseries.
