Our Story

Legacy Redevelopment Corporation (LRC) is dedicated to providing accessible financing solutions for disadvantaged businesses in low-income communities, particularly in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin. Since 2003, LRC has worked tirelessly to transform stressed communities into healthy and sustainable places to live, work, and raise families.

Impact

With over 60 loans totaling $8 million, LRC has created or retained more than 1,000 jobs and financed over 230,000 square feet of new or renovated space for nonprofit and socially oriented businesses in Milwaukee's central city.
