Lee County Youth Development Center

Our Story

The Lee County Youth Development Center was founded in 1973 by Mrs. Jane C. Walker and Mrs. Cecil D. Moreman. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families in Lee County and beyond. With a broad continuum of services, including prevention, intervention, and residential care, LCYDC is deeply rooted in the local community while having a statewide impact through programs like Project Uplift and Transitional Living.
