In 2013, a dedicated group of Ledyard residents recognized the urgent need to assist pets in their community. This led to the formation of Ledyard C.H.A.I.N., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting Ledyard Animal Control in rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing companion animals.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, every animal entering Ledyard Animal Control receives a warm bed, nutritious food, and essential medical care, greatly enhancing their quality of life and adoption prospects.
