The Leaves, Inc. was founded on July 8th by Inman Douglas, Fanny Fulton, James McReynolds, and Harry McRae as the first Christian Science Nursing organization in the Dallas area. Originally named The North Texas Nursing Home, Inc., the organization was renamed to reflect its mission of healing, inspired by Revelation 22:2. Today, it serves patients from Texas and surrounding states, emphasizing the importance of Christian Science nursing and community support.
The Leaves provides essential Christian Science nursing services that have led to numerous patient healings and foster a supportive community environment. With outpatient care and residential living, the organization has expanded its facilities and services to meet the growing needs of its patients and staff.
