Leave No Paws Behind

Our Story

Since its inception in 2011, Leave No Paws Behind has focused on rescuing senior, end-of-life, and medically needy animals. Recognizing that many pets are loved but their families struggle with the costs of veterinary care, LNPB launched the "People, Helping People, Helping Paws" Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic program in 2019. This award-winning clinic opened in May 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, to provide essential services to the community, rescue organizations, and under-resourced families.

Impact

Since opening, thousands of families and their pets have benefited from LNPB's services, allowing hundreds of dogs and cats to stay in loving homes and out of shelters. By partnering with shelter diversion programs, LNPB actively works to reduce the number of pets entering the shelter system.
