About Learning Disabilities Association Inc.

Founded in 1967 by three dedicated educators, Learning Disabilities Association Inc. (LDA) began as a response to the pressing need for specialized educational support for individuals with learning disabilities. Initially known as Education for Learning Disabilities, Inc., the organization has evolved significantly over the decades. After establishing the eLDA Reading and Math Clinic in 1974, LDA has become a cornerstone in the Minnesota educational landscape, partnering with schools and community organizations to provide essential services.
