Root for Kids

Our Story

Root for Kids, formerly known as The Learning Center for Families, was founded in 1994 to serve families with children aged 0-5 in Washington County, Utah, and the Arizona Strip. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, growing from under 100 families to over 600 families each month, thanks to various grants and community partnerships.

Impact on the Community

Since its inception, Root for Kids has positively impacted the lives of over 16,000 vulnerable children, providing essential services such as home visits, health screenings, and early intervention programs. Annually, the organization helps over 1,000 young children achieve critical developmental milestones.
