Promoting Educational Development

Our Story

The LEAD Scholarship Foundation, originally founded as the Black Employees Network Scholarship Foundation in 2002, became an independent nonprofit in 2005. This organization is dedicated to recognizing and supporting aspiring minority high school seniors in their pursuit of academic excellence. By providing scholarships of up to $5,000, the Foundation aims to alleviate the financial burden of education and foster a community of support through mentoring.

Impact

To date, the Foundation has awarded over $500,000 to more than 100 students, significantly contributing to the educational development of young African-American graduates. This initiative not only provides financial assistance but also connects scholars with peer and professional mentors.
