Founded in 2004 by local business and civic leaders, Leadership SouthCoast cultivates a diverse network of regional leaders. After becoming an independent nonprofit in 2019, the organization was revitalized in 2021 with a new Executive Director and the rebranded flagship program, LEAD SouthCoast.
Since inception, LEAD SouthCoast has graduated eighteen cohorts, totaling over 600 alumni, with nearly 100 area organizations sponsoring participants.
