Our Story

Leadership Macomb was founded in 1994 by John Nitz and a dedicated group of community and business leaders. The organization was created to establish a county-wide leadership program that mirrors successful initiatives across the nation. By connecting, informing, and involving leaders in Macomb County, it fosters long-term business relationships and addresses local issues.

Impact

Over 1,450 individuals from more than 260 organizations have participated in Leadership Macomb's programs, significantly enhancing community leadership and collaboration.
