Our Story

Founded in 2002 by Dale Williams, Leadership for Queens began as a conference for Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Queens in Nashville, TN. In 2005, Anthony Jones established Kings’ Konnection, a network for HBCU Kings. The two organizations united to co-host the HBCU Conference of Kings and Queens in Birmingham, AL, creating a unique platform for leadership development.

Impact

This annual conference equips newly elected kings and queens with essential leadership training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, ensuring they are prepared for their significant roles on campus.
