Our Story

In 2016, a leadership class at Heritage High School initiated a partnership with a school in Leon, Nicaragua, leading to the establishment of the Katie Beth Carter Memorial School in Tomas Borge. Legacy Builders for Change was founded to provide essential resources for education, healthcare, vocational training, and food engineering, all driven by dedicated volunteers from Ringgold, Georgia.

Impact

Since its inception, 96% of students have enrolled in post-graduate education, with 270 students currently receiving quality education and 14,000 patients benefiting from healthcare services.
