Our Story

Lazarus House Ministries was founded in 1983 by Brother Tom Petitte, inspired by Mother Teresa's mission to serve the poor. Starting with a small emergency shelter, the organization has grown to provide essential services including food, clothing, advocacy, and transitional housing for those facing material poverty and homelessness in Lawrence, MA.
