Our Story

Founded in 1976 by a group of 14 dedicated lawyers, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) is the oldest program of its kind in the nation. This organization was established to confidentially assist lawyers and judges struggling with chemical addiction in Minnesota. Over the years, LCL has expanded its mission to address a wider array of mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety, while maintaining a strict confidentiality policy to encourage individuals to seek help without fear of repercussions.

Impact

LCL provides free, confidential support to lawyers, judges, law students, and their families affected by substance use and mental health issues. Each year, hundreds of individuals benefit from counseling, support groups, and educational programs, helping them recover and improve their lives.

Why Donate?

Your contributions to LCL support essential services that provide confidential assistance to legal professionals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Donations help fund counseling sessions, educational programs, and outreach efforts that save lives and promote well-being in the legal community.
