Our Story

Founded in 1974 by Scott and Norma Matheson along with J. Thomas and Kay Greene, Utah Law Related Education was established to provide essential law-related and citizenship education to the youth of Utah. Over the years, this initiative has expanded to serve all 40 school districts across the state, impacting students from kindergarten through high school. In 1989, the Law-Related Education Project, Inc. was incorporated to ensure the sustainability of these vital educational programs.
