Our Story

Borne out of a commitment to address representation, equity, and inclusion, the Diversity in Leadership Institute (DLI) was established in 2017. This initiative recognizes the systemic failures that hinder Black and Latinx students from achieving their full potential. DLI is dedicated to fostering a diverse and culturally competent leadership within California's charter schools and districts.

Our Impact

The DLI aims to create equitable outcomes for Black and Latinx students by building a movement of racially diverse public education leaders. This effort is crucial for enhancing academic, social, and emotional well-being.
